School Lunches

School meals are cooked on the premises. For children requiring a cooked lunch: -

1. Money is collected on the morning of the first working day of each week, usually Monday - at present £ per meal. Please make every effort to send the correct money in a container/envelope labelled with your child's name.

2. Casual staying is NOT allowed, except by prior arrangements with the school.

3. Parents must help to stress the importance of good
lunch time behaviour, otherwise serious consideration will be given as to whether a child is allowed to stay or not.

Free School meals are provided for children of parents in
receipt of Income Support or Job Seeker?s Allowance. Form
BR35 (Application for Free School meals) is available from the
School Secretary or the Area Education Office.

Arrangements For Packed Lunches

Please give a minimum of one week's notice if you wish your child to change from packed lunch to school dinners or vice versa. This is to allow for ordering etc.

For any child who forgets his/her packed lunch we will attempt to contact home. Failing this, a meal will be provided for which we will require payment. Back to top
