26 Mar 2002 - End Of Term News Letter
Dear Parents,
Here are some items of news to note before we finish for the end of term.
NON UNIFORM DAY
On Thusrday we are having a non-uniform day. In return for a donation of money pupils can wear their every day clothing. Since all proceeds from the day will go towards buying books for our school library we hope everyone will take part.
TALENT SHOW
A group of Y5 pupils have organised a talent show for Thursday afternoon. They have told the rest of the school the datails and used the entry fees to buy prizes for the best acts. Pupils can watch the show on Thursday afternoon for 50p each. I'll let you know if we unearth another Will, Gareth or Hearsay!

CHILDREN IN YEAR 6
The SAT,s tests this year take place in the week beginning 13th May. It is important that all children attend for the whole week, the school will not authorise any holiday requests for Yr 6 pupils in that week.
SCHOOL SURVEY
Thank you to everyone who has returned their school survey form. For those of you who still have them the deadline is the end of term.
EVERYBODY NEEDS GOOD NEIGHBOURS
We would be grateful if all our neighbours would keep an eye on our school over the hoilday since vandalism is not only costly but is also upsetting.
SUMMER SPORTS
When the better weather arrives next term(?) children will be going over to the field for P.E. Can parents please ensure that children have a change of footwear for the field e.g. trainers or plimsolls.
HAPPY EASTER
Everyone who works at the school would like to wish you all a restful and enjoyable Easter break. Staff will be back in school on Monday 15th April for a training day, pupils should return on Tuesday 16th April.
