THEATRE ALIBI
On Friday 9th November, Theatre Alibi will be in school presenting a play called "Clockwork". We will require a donation of £1.50 per child to cover some of the cost. We have had this group in school before and they are brilliant - children get a lot out of seeing a live performance.

BREAKFAST CLUB
We have been successful in our bid to run a Breakfast Club, The details are still being worked out with the LEA, but I hope that we will be able to run the club after Christmas.
The idea behind the bid was to provide children with a breakfast and some fun things to do before school starts. I will send out more details when I have them.
PARENT CONSULTATION MEETINGS
Our Parents Evenings will be held on Monday 12th November, 3.40-5.00 pm, and Wednesday 14th November 5.00-7.00 pm. A signing up sheet will be placed outside each class next Monday for parents to book a time to meet the teachers.
The Evenings this term are an opportunity to discuss how the children are settling in and to share any concerns. There will be another oppotunity in the summer term to talk about the work the children are doing.
TERM DATES
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE NOW ASSIGNED OUR RAMAINING NON-PUPIL DAYS FOR STAFF TRAINING. THEY WILL BE 3RD AND 4TH JANUARY 2002 AND 15TH APRIL 2002.
