8 Mar 2002 - NEWSLETTER MARCH 2002 (6)

WIDE AWAKE CLUB
The Wide Awake Club has been very successful. We have had several days when it has been full (15 pupils) and the children are really enjoying it. Due to popularity, it is inportant that parents book spaces with the school office. We will keep an eye on demand to see if we need to create more spaces in the future. I am grateful to Miss Cumbes and Miss James for their hard work and enthusiasm.

NEW OUTSIDE NOTICE BOARD
We have a new notice board on the railings by Laira Bridge Road. We hope that this will improve the flow of information by keeping you all up to date.
SPARE CLOTHES WANTED
Occasionally, our younger children have 'little accidents' in school and need to change their trousers or skirts. We would be very gratful for any skirts or pairs of trousers that your child has grown out of. Thank you

SCHOOL CLUBS
We have recently started a number of new after school clubs. In order to keep school as secure as posible, I have asked the caretaker to lock all the entrances at 3.45 p.m. If there is a school club in session, then the only entrance/exit is via the main door. Parents are welcome to wait by the main door at the end of the club.
