CHRISTMAS ARRANGEMENTS:
The class parties will take place this Wednesday in school. Children can bring in their party clothes to change into on the afternoon, if they wish.
KEY STAGE 1 TREAT:
We have arranged for an entertainer to be with RC,1L and 2G on Thursday morning. Key stage 2 have already been to the Barbican Theatre.

GOOD NEIGHBOURS:
The police are running a campaign to prevent vandalisam at schools over the holiday period. Can I ask you all to report to the police any suspicious action you may see on our school grounds over the holiday.
MONEY FOR BOOKS:
Thank you to all the children who donated money last Thursday on our non-uniform day. We raised £47 for books for our school library.
GARDENING CLUB:
We have had some real success thanks to Sam and Jim. Focus Do It ll have donated some grdening equipment and enough bulbs for every child to plant one somewhere in the school grounds.
QUESTIONNAIE RESPONSE:
I would like to thank all the parents who returned our recent questionnaries on Healthy Schools and support for developing the school grounds. The response was encouraging. We will keep you informed about the next steps.

THE GOVERNORS, STAFF AND I WOULD LIKE TO WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
When the childeren start back on Monday 7th January, we will have two new teachers - Miss Higman in year 1 and Mrs Matthews in year 4.
We look forward to seeing all the children on the 7th January 2002.
