20 Jun 2003 - Friends of Prince Rock Primary School

The Friends of Prince Rock Primary School have organised a summer fair, which will be held in the playgrounds on Friday 11th July from 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm. There will be stalls (cakes, bric-a-brac, etc), a bouncy castle, raffles, games, balloons,
pizza and sweets. Anyone who wishes to rent a table (£3.50 ? to be booked before the day) should contact Mrs Richardson or Mrs Brennand. The entrance fee is 15p per person, payable on the day. We look forward to seeing everyone!
Calling all budding artists?
We need the children to make posters advertising the summer fair. The drawings should be done on A4 paper using black pen or dark pencil (no colours please as we have to photocopy them). The posters should tell everyone what will be at the fair (as detailed in the box above). There will be a big chocolate
prize for the winner.

There is a can-recycling box situated outside the staff room. If you have any aluminium cans, we would be grateful if you could ?wash and squash? them and bring them into school.

Friday 27th June is Mufti Day. The children are allowed to wear their own clothes for the day, but instead of bringing in a donation of money, we would like them to bring in a bar or packet of chocolate! The chocolate we collect will be used as prizes for the tombola at the summer fair. Thank you for your support.

If anyone has any of the following items: tins of food, plants, books (in good , clean condition), school uniform (as new), games (good condition, with all the pieces), jigsaws (complete) or any other items of bric-a-brac, we would be very grateful to receive them. Please bring them in to school by Thursday 10th July.

We are holding a special raffle to win a beautiful wooden doll?s house. The house is fully furnished and has working lights and a working doorbell. It is currently on display in the corridor outside Mrs. Smith?s office. The tickets cost £1 each and are available from Mrs Richardson, 3.15 ? 3.30 in the playground, from Monday.

Anyone who wishes to help with the running of the summer fair is invited to contact either Mrs Richardson or Mrs Brennand.
