What happened to Christmas? It seems a long time ago now, as does my first day in post as Acting Headteacher. The first few weeks have been hectic but very enjoyable and it has been nice meeting many of you around the school on a day-to-day basis. I have not been the only new person this term and I would like to welcome the 20 new children who have joined the reception class. We have been trying to find our way around the school together - with the children winning the contest quite easily! I am looking forward to the rest of the term and continuing the incredible work that Mr Roberts achieved during his time in post. Have a good term. Martin Hancock
We have vacancies for Parent Governors within the Governing Body. If you are interested in becoming more involved with your children's education and
would like to know more about this role, please contact the school office and leave your details.
A REMINDER: Friday 13th Feb and Friday 5th March are both non-pupil days.
We have received information from the Police regarding the use of motorised scooters (go-peds). This information is displayed in school and on the notice board in the playground.
Friends of Prince Rock Primary School have now established a committee and have organised a variety of successful fundraising events. However, we desperately need more support and would be very grateful if anyone has some time to spare and would like to get involved. Depending on the response we receive, we intend to hold a very informal, friendly meeting on Monday 2nd February at 3.00 p.m. and everyone is welcome. If you have younger children, bring them along too. Please fill out the reply slip below and return to Mrs Smith in the office as soon as possible. Thank you.
The school is not insured for parents who park in the Staff car park when dropping off/picking up their children and we therefore request that parents refrain from doing this at all times. Thank you for your co-operation.
